Our Holsters are made from top grade vegetable tanned leather with our own patterns. The outside leather is 8/9 ounce leather while the lining leather is 6/7 ounce. The leather is glued together and the edges finished so that the finished product looks like the two pieces have been melded into one. We have a variety of border stamps and we also offer basket weave and floral carving.
Our Ranger Belts are cut from 9/10 ounce leather. The billets and bullet loops are stitched on and then lined with coordinating suede leather. The result is a belt that fits well, is good looking, and stays put.
Our Custom Buscadaro Belts are hand cut from our patterns using your measurements. Buscadaro Belts are usually cut on a curve to allow for the natural taper of waist to hips. Ranger Belts are usually cut straight which means less waste = less cost.
We also make custom Holsters for modern handguns and for concealed carry. As a concealed carry permit holder I understand the needs of those who go armed. I’ve made carry holsters for Sheriff Deputies, Ex-Seals, and Military as well as non-professionals.

Gun Belts Pricing Guide
There is no shopping cart on this site for a reason, when you contact Indian Creek Leather Co. you will be talking to me, Gene Weishuhn, the owner and custom leathersmith. I will take your order, I will walk you through the selections and I will answer your questions. We will talk and get to know each other so I can serve you the better. I will do this, not some clerk in a box store where everything is shrink wrapped in plastic and only comes in one size and color.
I want you to experience my shop even if you never step foot in it. When you browse my site I want you smell the leather, the dyes, and the oils, I want you to see the bench and the tools that will turn the raw leather into a thing of beauty and function that will last a life time. I want you to enjoy looking at the leather products and see how they are made. To return to a time when things were done right the first time and a handshake was a binding agreement. And when you proudly displayyour treasure you can tell people, “My friend made this for me”.

Gun Belt Sizing Guide
Three different belts and how they fasten.
- Straight Belt ~ The leather is the same width its entire length with a buckle secured at one end and holes punched at the other to correspond to the buckle.
|
 |
- Tapered Belt ~ The leather is tapered at the buckle billet and also at the tongue billet usually half the width of the body of the belt.
|
 |
- The Ranger Belt ~ The body of the belt is usually a continuous width its entire length while it is buckled with two narrower billets that are fastened onto the body of the belt.

Measuring:
The sizing of belts is extremely important. When ordering a custom belt it is critical to have the proper measurement. For gun belts you need to measure at the place on your hips that you intend to wear the belt. Gun belts are usually worn lower than the waistline so this is the measurement that you will need to know. Wrap the tape measure around your hips right where you will wear your belt and record the measurement. Make sure that you are wearing the same style of pants, and or chaps that you will wear with your gun belt.
